Shipping policy

Shipment processing

Most orders for in-stock items are generally processed within seven business days. Orders containing pre-ordered or out-of-stock items will not be processed until all items become available. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, processing may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.


Shipping rates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Heavier/thicker books, graded slabs and items shipped in toploaders will affect the number that can fit in a parcel, and therefore a higher shipping rate may apply. 

Shipping is provided by Canada Post. Customers in locations to which Canada Post will not ship may not be able to complete a checkout.

For Canada, shipping is $15 CAD for 1-10, $20 CAD for 11-40, and $35 for 41+. Single orders over $200 qualify for free shipping. All orders over 40 comics (regardless of value) may require an additional shipping invoice. Orders using the "Lettermail (NOT tracked, NOT insured)" option are not eligible for claims if they don't arrive or arrive damaged.

For the U.S., shipping for 1-10 regular-sized comics is $14 CAD, $26 CAD for 11-40, and $50 CAD for 41+. Single orders over $250 CAD qualify for free shipping. All orders over 40 comics (regardless of value) may require an additional shipping invoice. 

For Australia, shipping for 1-10 regular-sized comics is $33 CAD, 11-40 is $60 CAD, 40-60 is $94 CAD, and over 60 is $125. All orders over 100 regular-sized comics may require an additional shipping invoice.

For International Shipping outside Canada and the U.S. (and excluding Australia) shipping for 1-10 regular-sized comics is $24.20 CAD, 11-40 is $49.50 CAD, 40-60 is $66 CAD, and over 60 is $95 CAD. All orders over 100 regular-sized comics may require an additional shipping invoice.

Please note that the above flat shipping rates do not apply to combined orders from across our sales platforms (Facebook and comickingdomcreative.com). Additional shipping charges will be required for combined orders.

 

Combining Orders

If you have more than one order waiting to be shipped, please contact us at info@comickingdomcreative.com as it may be possible to ship them together at a reduced shipping rate. Please note that the free shipping for single orders of $200CAD or $250USD may not apply to the combined value of multiple orders.

 

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

If your shipping method includes tracking, you will receive a processing confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). If you don't receive one in what you feel is a reasonable amount of time, please don't hesitate to contact us at info@comickingdomcreative.com.

 

Change of Address, Returned Parcels

Comic Kingdom Creative must be informed of any change of address at info@comickingdomcreative.com prior to the customer's receipt of a processing notification. Comic Kingdom of Canada is not responsible for parcels shipped to outdated or incorrect addresses, nor for items the postal service could not deliver to an existing address. Items in returned parcels will not be refunded, and parcels may be subject to additional shipping fees if they are to be sent to a new address.

Missing Mail and Lost or Late Packages

Comic Kingdom Creative is not responsible for missing or lost packages. In the rare case that a packing is missing, please contact us at info@comickingdomcreative.com. We will open a claim with Canada Post, which will contact both the customer (via email or phone) and the customers' local postal service, and the situation is usually resolved in three or four weeks.

The customer assumes all liability for Canadian parcels shipped using the "Lettermail (non-tracked, non-insured)" method. Damaged or missing parcels will not be replaced.

If a parcel hasn't been shipped within six weeks of the expected shipping time noted in the listing, please feel free to contact us at info@comickingdomcreative.com. Occasional production and printing delays may prevent us from receiving items in a timely manner, which may delay shipping from Comic Kingdom Creative to our customers.  

 

Customs, Duties, Taxes and Fees

Comic Kingdom Creative is not responsible for any customs fees, duties, taxes or other fees applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer. All extra paperwork or proof of purchase required by customs must be supplied by the customer.

 

Shipping Damage

Comic Kingdom Creative takes great care in packaging your purchase so that it will arrive at your home in the same condition as it was when it was prepared for shipping. Comic Kingdom Creative is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping.

Customers who receive damaged products must inform Comic Kingdom Creative by email within 48 hours of receiving the products, and include photos of the damaged product and packaging. Please do not dispose of packaging materials and damaged goods before contacting Comic Kingdom Creative.

Upon receipt of photos, Comic Kingdom Creative will create a service ticket with Canada Post, which may allow a refund or replacement following an investigation by Canada Post. The customer will be contacted by email as part of the investigation by Canada Post, and will be required to send photos and a description of the damage to Canada Post. Comic Kingdom Creative is unable to offer replacement items or any other option prior to the completion of Canada Post's investigation.
